Chemical cleaning Condensers

High-performance
effective cleaning

CTP environnement has developed a range of additional cleaning solutions for dealing with various types of soiling/clogging, which can affect shell and tube heat exchangers and condensers.

These solutions specifically involve cleaning and clearing residues from tubes (moulds, pieces of packing, stones, etc.) using appropriate tools for the equipment and environmentally-friendly processes.

A beneficial application

The nominal operating characteristics of condensers are restored, with specifically:

  • An improvement in heat transfer and efficiency
  • A reduction in the quantity of fuel and CO2 emissions

When performed regularly, these operations ensure the long-term sustainability of equipment:

  • Preventing the risk of Legionnaire’s disease (thanks to biofilm removal)
  • Combating corrosion and extending the lifespan of the tube bundle
  • Smoothing tubes to increase the flow of water and improve the exchange of heat

Processes that can be tailored to residues and materials

CTP environnement has a choice of two methods, which depend on the client’s specification:

  • The mechanical process, which involves firing projectiles: this compact and readily available system offers a range of projectiles, which will be carefully selected

  • The chemical process, which uses circulation units for tubes and grilles: this requires a preliminary study to define the appropriate chemical solution for the circuits and the kinds of residues and, once initiated, it is subject to real time monitoring of the critical parameters (pH, iron, conductivity, etc.)

Victory at the V.I.E Grand Prix Americas 2025

To accelerate its international growth, CTP environnement group has embraced the V.I.E program, led by Business France and backed by the French government. For several years, qualified young talents have been strengthening our teams in subsidiaries located in Singapore, Canada, the USA, and more recently, the United Kingdom.

In our American subsidiary based in Houston, Neyl stood out brilliantly by winning first place at the V.I.E Grand Prix Americas 2025, an award that recognized 4 winners out of 97 candidates. His original and impactful video—highlighting France as THE go-to destination for innovation and investment—made all the difference.
